Hey see, I’m getting better. I’m posting the day after I last posted! Yay. Ok that’s enough celebrating. Now on to business. Another project I created in order to pass a class. For our first assignment in Graphic Design I, we were to create a logo for a business for their use on Business cards, Letterheads, and envelopes. Now many of my classmates created logos for themselves. I already had one but I didn’t want to use it because I was planning and still trying to trademark it for an on-line entertainment company. Once I have $325…OK so it will still take a while. Anyway, I used my noggin and the first thing that popped into my head (at the time) was my friend’s comic book company After Hours Press. Now just so you know, they have a great logo; a martini glass with an olive in it. So for the project I came up with the idea of playing with the Hours part of the name. Can you guess what it might be?
Give up? Well…I guess I won’t hold you in suspense. Its a time clock set to 5 pm punching a time card. The most recognized time to go home. Cue the Dolly Parton song….
Wait, someone is actually playing it right now. Oh boy. I’ll leave that guy alone. 😛
Anyway, I thought it funny and would be something that when made into a business card, you would notice very quickly in a stack of your competitors. Here let me show ya.
Now tell me you couldn’t pick this one out of a large stack of Business cards. So I then moved onto the other two parts, Stationary and the envelope.
Type ya later,
